Responsibilities
- Welcome customers, take orders and create memorable experiences that keep people coming back
- Prepare fresh food and barista-quality coffee (full training provided)
- Handle transactions accurately using cash registers and payment systems
- Maintain spotless standards by cleaning surfaces, equipment and café areas
- Work with the Café Supervisor and Campus Facilities Coordinator to deliver outstanding service
- Support café setup and conferencing events
- Keep stock levels topped up and ready for customers
Qualifications
- Uphold high hygiene and health & safety standards
- Experience working in a food environment
- Level 2 Food Safety qualification or willingness to gain this quickly
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High standards of personal hygiene and appearance
- Sharp attention to detail and excellent problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
