Responsibilities

  • Join Board and Committee meetings

  • Work alongside the Housing Diversity Network Board Trainee Programme
  • Participate in workshops, mentoring and observation of live Board and Committee meetings

What you will give us in return

  • Your time and your commitment
  • Prepared for all meetings, comfortable reading reports and confident enough to share your views (we don’t bite!)
  • Six board meetings a year (Monday mornings, mix of in‑person and virtual)
  • Time in the week before a meeting to read reports and be prepared
  • Two board strategy events per year: a November overnight stay (Friday morning to Saturday lunchtime) and a May full‑day event
  • If joining a committee, quarterly committee meetings and participation in the two strategy events is still expected
