About Us

Our employment coaches have two key skills – the ability to deliver 1-2-1 support to help people plan and reach their goals, and the ability to teach groups to help people gain skills to achieve their goals. Each role is 50/50 to ensure we continue to support people and deliver training that's fit for people's aspirations. Every coach has a core subject specialism they can teach and are qualified to deliver through numerous levels so we can offer progression to our customers. Additionally, all coaches deliver a wide and varied curriculum around life skills, enrichment, wellbeing and employability – all core to our curriculum.

A Typical Day

  • Carrying out initial assessments, using tools including Skills Builder and Unifrog, to help learners make informed decisions
  • Delivering a rich employability programme, including NCFE qualifications and external enrichment activities and visits
  • Working alongside the Employability Lead to ensure quality throughout the learner's programme
  • Managing learners for their whole journey with us – ensuring attendance, achievement and progression
  • Reviewing progress and helping learners succeed through regular contact, proactive engagement and planned interventions
  • Building relationships with local support services to ensure a full, holistic package of support, meeting all participant and EHCP needs
