- We are looking for an experienced
Account Director to lead one of Acierta's business units, combining exceptional client leadership with strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of production and project delivery.
At Acierta, an Account Director is more than a client lead.
You will own a business unit (Hub), with responsibility for its client portfolio, commercial performance, people, operational excellence, and long-term growth.
You'll build strategic client relationships, lead multidisciplinary teams, drive profitability, and ensure projects are delivered successfully from concept through design, technical development, production, logistics, installation, and handover.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can confidently move between client meetings, commercial discussions, production environments, and project delivery, always balancing creativity, quality, programme, feasibility, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and develop long-term strategic relationships with key clients.
- Lead senior client communications across multiple projects and markets.
- Act as a trusted advisor throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Challenge briefs and provide commercially and technically sound recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and develop new business.
- Lead projects from concept through technical development, production, logistics, installation, and handover.
- Work closely with creative, technical, production, and project teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Apply a strong understanding of manufacturing, fabrication, materials, and installation processes.
- Challenge designs, specifications, and production approaches where improvements can be made.
- Identify production risks early and proactively drive solutions.
- Balance creative ambition with feasibility, programme, quality, and budget.
- Commercial Management
- Own the financial performance of the assigned business unit and client portfolio.
- Ensure projects achieve agreed profitability targets.
- Review budgets, quotations, and commercial proposals.

- Understand and manage the commercial impact of production and delivery decisions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop Account Managers and Project Managers.

- Significant experience leading Retail, Experiential, Hospitality, or Spatial Design projects from concept through production and installation.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, fabrication techniques, materials, and production workflows.
- Proven experience working closely with workshops, manufacturers, suppliers, and production teams.
- Strong commercial awareness, with a clear understanding of budgets, margins, profitability, and financial performance.
- Exceptional client relationship management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at senior level.
- Proven experience leading and developing multidisciplinary teams across client services, creative, technical, and production functions.
- Strong organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
