As a Senior New Business Developer - Merchant Payments, you will join a diverse, passionate team dedicated to powering the world’s payments ecosystem!
The purpose of the Senior New Business Developer - Merchant Payments role is:
- Responsible for prospecting and selling ACI Merchant Payment solutions.
- Develop a plan and manage the process of bringing the identified sales opportunities to a successful close.
- Own quota attainment for net-new logos within their territory and report to the geographic leader.
This individual must deeply understand customer needs, activate cross-functional ACI resources (including Strategic Product Consultants, Customer Solution Specialists, and Breakout Deal Developers), and position ACI’s value proposition effectively to close deals. Expertise in selling enterprise payment solutions is essential.
A typical day at ACI for a Senior New Business Developer includes:
- Identifying opportunities within the Merchant Payments.
- Establishing ACI’s overall relationship with prospective customers, with emphasis on developing and maintaining effective relationships with key decision makers.
- Strategically partnering with both business and technical teams internally and externally to identify technology solutions.
- Accountable for establishing sales strategies and mobilizing the appropriate ACI resources to close the opportunity.
- Managing all administrative aspects of the assignment including account profiles, sales pipeline records, and prospective customer organization charts, consistent with ACI’s best sales practices.
- Staying current on ACI products/enhancements, competitive activities, and industry trends.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Understanding and adhering to all corporate policies, including the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
