We are working with a recent market entrant who are seeking an Associate Solicitor to join their Energy & Renewables team within their Belfast office.

The successful candidate will join a nationally recognised Corporate Energy practice, handling matters such as disposals and acquisitions, joint ventures, co-operation agreements, and profit share arrangements. Responsibilities include:

  • Project management
  • Assisting and co-ordinating due diligence processes
  • Leading on the drafting and negotiation of all ancillary documentation
  • Supporting the negotiation of the key transaction documents

The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives while managing client relationships.

Essential Criteria

  • Strong background in renewables and corporate M&A within a medium to large commercial firm
  • Dual-qualification (within England & Wales or Ireland) highly advantageous
  • Excellent commercial awareness
