We are working with a top-tier law firm who are looking for a Lawyer to join their Energy team. This role can be based in London or Bristol.

The successful candidate will join a market-leading Commercial & Regulatory energy team, advising a broad range of clients across the energy transition sector. The role involves providing commercial and regulatory advice to renewable developers, storage providers, network operators, energy suppliers, interconnector developers and public sector bodies across the full lifecycle of energy projects.

The position also includes advising on complex energy offtake and route-to-market arrangements, government support schemes, and wider energy regulatory frameworks including licensing, codes and compliance obligations. Key responsibilities include supporting grid connection and charging arrangements, and advising on emerging areas such as heat networks and green gas.

Essential Criteria:

  • 0-3 years’ PQE;
  • Strong energy law experience;
  • Experience in the regulatory space desirable;
  • Strong commercial awareness;
  • Experience in business development;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Team player;
  • Technically excellent.
