We are working with a top-tier UK bank who are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join their in-house Fintech team in either London, Edinburgh, or Belfast.
The successful candidate will join a growing fintech-focused legal function supporting banking-as-a-service and white-labelled financial products, including deposit accounts, loans and unsecured lending solutions. The role will focus on advising on fintech and consumer credit matters, with particular emphasis on point-of-sale lending, Consumer Credit Act (CCA) compliance and wider regulatory issues affecting innovative financial products and customer journeys. The position also involves drafting and negotiating commercial agreements with external partners and clients, supporting executive and strategic business initiatives, and acting as the lead legal adviser for the fintech and consumer lending area.
Additional responsibilities include collaborating with wider legal teams across privacy, savings and customer terms and conditions, while contributing to the continued growth and development of the legal function within a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
Essential Criteria:
- Experiencing practicing fintech law;
- Solicitors from both private practice and in-house welcome to apply;

- Ability to lead a team;
- Confidence to begin with immediate momentum;
