We are working with a leading law firm based in Belfast for a Senior Associate to join their Motor & Fraud team.
The Role:
The successful candidate will join a well-established Motor & Fraud team in Belfast, advising leading insurers and corporate clients on a broad range of defendant motor litigation matters, including personal injury, complex and catastrophic injury claims, motor damage, credit hire, recoveries and suspected fraudulent claims.
The role will involve managing a varied caseload of pre-litigation and litigated matters from initial instruction through to resolution, investigating liability, gathering evidence, liaising with witnesses and experts, and developing litigation strategies. The successful candidate will also draft pleadings, witness statements and settlement documentation.
- 5+ years’ PQE;
- Handling EL/PL and personal injury claims.
- Managing a busy caseload independently.
- Drafting pleadings, legal advice and court documents.
- Negotiating settlements and resolving disputes.
- Liaising with insurers, clients, experts and counsel.
