Senior Solicitor – Construction Disputes in Northampton

We are working with a tier-one national firm who are looking for a Senior Solicitor to join their Construction practice within either their Edinburgh or Glasgow office.

The Role:

The successful candidate will join an esteemed contentious construction team, working on a diverse range of construction disputes across Scotland. The candidate’s role will see them acting for a diverse range of international and domestic across litigation, adjudication, arbitration, and other forms of ADR.

The candidate will play a key role in supporting clients in contentious matters such as advising on strategy, dispute resolution, and risk management across high-profile construction, infrastructure, and power projects. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to contribute to business development, while managing client relationships.

Essential Criteria:

• 2-6 PQE;
• Strong background in contentious construction law and disputes;
• Outstanding academics;
• Technically excellent;
• Strong negotiation skills;
• Willingness to become involved in business development;
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
