We are working with a leading UK law firm based in Belfast for a Solicitor to join their Counter Fraud team.

The successful candidate will join a specialist Counter Fraud team in Belfast, handling a caseload of predominantly litigated motor, credit hire, and casualty fraud claims. They will manage claims with appropriate supervision, undertake advocacy where required, and work closely with clients, agencies, and specialist fraud teams across the UK and Ireland to support proactive and reactive fraud investigations. They will also ensure compliance with client and firm protocols, maintain strong financial and case management standards, and contribute to business development and client relationship activities.

Essential Criteria:

  • 0-5 years’ PQE;
  • Expertise in fraud is desirable but not essential;
  • Litigation background;
  • Excellent academics;
  • Technically excellent;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as a team;
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
