We are working with a top-tier UK law firm based in Belfast for a Managing Associate to join their Real Estate team.

The successful candidate will join a top-ranked Real Estate Future Energy team, advising on a wide range of renewable energy projects including wind, solar, battery storage, electric vehicle infrastructure, and hydro developments. You will draft and negotiate option agreements and leases, undertake due diligence, and support the financing, acquisition, and disposal of major clean energy projects. You will take early responsibility for managing transactions and client relationships, while also supporting broader real estate and public sector matters. The role includes mentoring junior team members, contributing to business development, and developing specialist expertise within the fast-growing future energy sector.

Essential Criteria:

  • 5+ years’ PQE;
  • Strong real estate law background;
  • Experience working on energy transactions;
  • Commercial awareness;
  • Supervising experience;
  • Ability to build upon existing and new client relationships;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Team player;
  • Technically excellent.
