Solicitor - Public Inquiries in London

We are working with a leading national law firm based in London for a Lawyer to join their Public Inquiries team.

The Role:

The successful candidate will join a growing Public Inquiries team, supporting statutory and non-statutory inquiries, undertaking internal investigations and independent reviews, and advising the Inquiry Team while managing relationships with legal representatives, witnesses, and document providers.

The Associate will also handle complex legal and investigative matters, including large-scale disclosure exercises, advising on public law challenges and judicial review issues, supporting witnesses preparing for oral evidence, and working across multiple workstreams while delegating tasks to ensure efficient delivery of matters.

Essential Criteria:

• 1+ years’ PQE;
• Strong background in public inquiries;
• Strong academics required;
• Commercial awareness;
• Client-oriented;
• Technically excellent;
• Ability to work to tight deadlines;
• Effective organisation skills;
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
