We are working with a top-tier law firm based in Cayman Islands for a Lawyer to join their Banking/Finance team. The firm welcomes candidates who are willing to relocate to the Cayman Islands.
The Role: The successful candidate will join a global Finance team, advising leading corporations, banks, and financial institutions on a wide range of secured and unsecured transactions. They will work across areas such as asset, debt, fund, acquisition, and project finance, as well as structured finance, securitisation, derivatives, and distressed debt, supporting both lenders and borrowers on complex cross-border deals. They will also advise on regulatory and corporate matters, review and negotiate finance documentation, and support on restructuring, security enforcement, and related disputes.
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum 5 years’ PQE;
- Strong banking/finance law background;
- Excellent academics;
- Strong team player;
- Commercial awareness;
- Enthusiastic;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Technically excellent.
