We are working with a leading high-growth lender who are seeking a Business Development Manager to support its regional origination capability across the UK.

The successful candidate will join a fast-growing collaborative specialist Real Estate Lender, working across Bridging, Refurbishment Finance, Development Finance, and Commercial Term Debt. Responsibilities include building direct relationships with SME housebuilders, property investors, and trading businesses, identifying funding opportunities for acquisition, refinance, development, and investment purposes, and maintaining strong CRM discipline and accurate pipeline reporting.

The candidate will develop and manage broker and developer relationships, representing the business at broker events, networking functions, expos, and industry meetings and generating high-value lending opportunities across their region.

Essential Criteria

  • 1–3 years’ experience within Bridging Finance, Development Finance, Commercial Mortgages, or Specialist Property Finance;
  • Experience within a Specialist Lender, Brokerage, or Property Finance environment preferred;
  • Strong relationship-building and business development capability;
  • Excellent commercial awareness;
  • Self-motivated, organised, and target-driven;
  • Technically excellent;
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.
