We are working with a top tier national law firm based in Belfast for a Partner to join their Employment team.

The successful candidate will join a growing Employment team, advising a variety of clients spanning several industries, on a range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. The Partner will manage a varied caseload, manage client relationships, advise clients before numerous courts and commissions, and participate in mediations and arbitrations when required. The Partner will have the ability to attract new business to the firm while also playing an instrumental role in business development. The individual will be a key mentor for junior members of the firm.

Essential Criteria:

  • Highly experienced solicitor;
  • Strong background in employment law.
  • In-depth experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment matters;
  • Commercial awareness;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Experience handling client relationships;
  • Ability to attract new business;
  • Willingness to mentor junior members of the firm;
  • Technically excellent;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
