We are working with a top Scottish law firm who are seeking a Senior Solicitor to join their Property Disputes team within their Edinburgh office.
The successful candidate will join an esteemed Dispute Resolution practice, advising the firm’s client base on all aspects of disputes relating to commercial, agricultural and private/estate properties. The candidate will provide advisory and litigatory support to clients, working on matters relating to recovery of rent and service charge, applications to the Land Court, title rectification, boundary disputes, planning appeals, professional negligence claims, and applications to the Lands Tribunal. This role will also provide the candidate with opportunities for advocacy and supervision of recovery of possession cases. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives while managing client relationships.
Essential Criteria:
- 2-4 PQE;
- Strong background in commercial property disputes within a medium to large commercial firm;
- Ability to demonstrate strong commercial awareness;
- Outstanding academics;
- Technically excellent;
- Negotiation skills;
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
