We are working with a top-tier Scottish law firm who are seeking a Senior Solicitor or Associate to join their Insurance Litigation team within their Edinburgh office.
The successful candidate will join an esteemed Litigation & Regulatory practice, working on high-value, cross border disputes across civil and commercial litigation, with a particular focus on personal injury defence, shipping & maritime law, and insurance coverage disputes. The candidate will advise across maritime and transport law claims, insurance coverage disputes, and personal injury defence. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives while managing client relationships.
Essential Criteria
- 3-5 PQE;
- Strong background in personal injury defence litigation and insurance claims;
- Excellent commercial awareness;
- Strong academics;
- Technically excellent;
- Negotiation skills;
- Willingness to become involved in business development;
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
