We are working with a market‑leading international law firm that is seeking an Associate Solicitor to join the Corporate Tax and Incentives practice within their London‑based office. The successful candidate will join an esteemed Corporate Tax team, acting for a diverse range of high‑profile clients on corporate, real estate and finance transactions.

The candidate’s duties will include advising clients on transactions and multi‑jurisdictional tax issues. Through this role, the candidate will also have the opportunity to assist with investment funds tax and employee incentives advice. The candidate will play a key role in providing support to the firm’s global client base in complex tax matters, advising public and private companies, financial institutions, and start‑ups. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to get involved in business development initiatives, while maintaining strong connections with the firm’s client base.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 2–4 years post‑qualification experience (PQE)
  • Strong background in tax law, M&A transactions, and private capital
  • Ability to demonstrate strong commercial awareness
  • Outstanding academics
  • Technically excellent
  • Willingness to become involved in business development
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
