We are working with a top-tier law firm based in London for a Lawyer to join their Contentious Tax team.
The successful candidate will join an innovative contentious Tax team, working on various matters including tax litigation, direct and indirect tax issues, judicial review, and HMRC remedies, working on a national and cross-border basis. The candidate will be familiar handling tax matters within both tribunals and courts. The candidate will also be expected to supervise and mentor junior members of the firm. Clients include public sector bodies, institutional investors, and listed companies.
Essential Criteria:
- 7+ yearsβ PQE;
- Tax litigation background;
- Experience handling Tax Tribunal proceedings;
- Commercial awareness;
- Technically excellent;
- Communication and organisation skills;
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
