We are working with an elite international law firm who are seeking an Associate Solicitor to join their Restructuring & Insolvency team within their London office.
The Role
The successful candidate will join a globally recognised Banking practice, advising a range of international and domestic clients in financially distressed situations across the full lifecycle of restructuring, insolvency and special situations transactions. The candidate’s work will span across financial restructuring and workouts, distressed M&A and asset sales, formal insolvency processes, and cross-border restructurings.
The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives while managing client relationships.
Essential Criteria:
- 1-4 PQE;
- Strong background in restructuring and insolvency within a medium to large commercial or City firm;
- Excellent commercial awareness;
- Outstanding academics;
- Technically excellent;
- Negotiation skills;
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
