We are working with a leading international law firm who are seeking an Associate Solicitor to join their Funds & Investment Management team within their London office.
The successful candidate will join an elite Investment Management practice, advising a variety of international and domestic clients across a broad range of asset classes, such as investment banks, managers, and private equity managers. The candidate will advise clients across a diverse range of private fund matters, including reviewing transaction documentation, drafting and negotiating fund documentation, and the structuring, establishment and operation of fund products. The candidate will play a key role in supporting the firm’s client base in the establishment of all types of fund structures across a range of investment strategies. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to contribute to business development while managing client relationships.
Essential Criteria
- 1-5 PQE;
- Strong background in investment funds and asset management within a medium to large commercial law firm;
- Excellent commercial awareness;
- Outstanding academics;
- Technically excellent;
- Negotiation skills;
- Willingness to become involved in business development;
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
