We are working with an elite international law firm who are seeking a Senior Associate Solicitor to join their Corporate Insurance practice within their London office.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic Insurance team, working on corporate insurance transactions, as well as the corporate governance matters of insurance companies. The candidate’s work will focus on technological developments within the insurance industry, such as distribution or new technologies, such as driverless cars, cross-border regulatory issues, data protection, and cyber risk.
The candidate will play a key role in supporting the firm’s highly regarded client base through conducting due diligence and advising through complex regulatory processes associated with the insurance industry. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives while managing client relationships.
Essential Criteria
- 3-7 PQE;
- Strong background in corporate insurance and corporate governance within a medium to large international or City firm;
- Excellent commercial awareness;
- Outstanding academics;
- Technically excellent;
- Negotiation skills;
- Willingness to become involved in business development;
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
