We are working with an elite international law firm who are seeking an Associate Solicitor to join their Disputes practice within their Belfast office.

The successful candidate will join an elite Litigation practice, working on a range of complex, high-value corporate and commercial disputes and investigations. The candidate will work on issues across a range of issues, including antitrust litigation, derivatives & structured finance disputes, insolvency & restructuring litigation, M&A disputes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Drafting advice
  • Preparing clients for court proceedings
  • Drafting and amending documentation and court pleadings
  • Drafting evidence and witness statements

The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives while managing client relationships.

Essential Criteria

  • 3+ PQE
  • Strong background in commercial disputes within a medium to large commercial firm
  • Excellent commercial awareness
  • Outstanding academics
  • Technically excellent
  • Negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
