We are working with a market-leading national law firm who are seeking a Senior Associate Solicitor to join their Finance practice within their Belfast office.
The successful candidate will join an esteemed Real Estate Finance team, working on a range of transactions spanning both development and investment work. The candidate’s role will encompass the full transaction lifecycle, often with a multi-jurisdictional element, including negotiating intercreditor arrangements and drafting and negotiating facility agreements and security documents (in both LMA and non-LMA form). The candidate will play a key role in the facilitation of development of junior staff members through mentorship, supervision and delegation of tasks. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to get involved in business development initiatives, while maintaining strong relationships with the firm’s client base.
Essential Criteria:
- 4-8 PQE;
- Strong background in banking and real estate finance within a medium to large commercial firm;
- Ability to demonstrate strong commercial awareness;
- Outstanding academics;
- Technically excellent;
- Negotiation skills;
- Willingness to become involved in business development;
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
