We are working with an esteemed international law firm who are seeking a Professional Support Lawyer to support their Employment team within their Belfast office.
The successful candidate will support a top-ranked Employment team through maintaining and updating the firm's precedents to ensure a high quality of service to clients. The candidate's duties will include:
- Dealing with complex legal queries from fee earners
- Delivering training and legal products to clients and fee-earners
- Identifying potential opportunities for efficiencies
- Monitoring legal, regulatory and market developments relevant to the firm's Employment department and clients
The candidate will play a key role in leading end-to-end delivery of knowledge initiatives, ensuring projects are executed and embedded effectively across the team. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives through formulating advice and leading and contributing to tenders and presentations for the firm's client base.
Requirements:
- 8+ PQE
- Strong background in employment law, legal research, knowledge management, and precedent development
- Ability to demonstrate strong commercial awareness
- Outstanding academics
- Technically excellent
- Willingness to become involved in business development
- Ability to work independently and as a team
