We are working with an elite international firm who are seeking a Partner to lead their Insurance Litigation team within their Belfast office.

The successful candidate will join a renowned Commercial Litigation practice, advising a variety of international and domestic clients, including insurance companies and self-insured commercial organisations. The candidate will provide advice on coverage, regulatory and compliance issues, and act on high-profile litigation disputes across a broad range of sectors. The candidate will manage matters from instruction through to resolution, deliver policy coverage and liability advice, draft and review policy wordings and regulatory documentation. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to contribute to business development initiatives while managing client relationships.

Essential Criteria

  • Strong background in defence insurance claims within a medium to large commercial firm;
  • Excellent commercial awareness;
  • Outstanding academics;
  • Technically excellent;
  • Negotiation skills;
  • Willingness to become involved in business development;
