Immigration Solicitor in Belfast

We are working with a leading national law firm who are looking for an Associate Solicitor to join their Immigration practice within their Belfast office.

The Role:

The successful candidate will join an esteemed Immigration Litigation team, working on all aspects of both corporate and personal immigration litigation, including file review and preparing for hearings. The candidate’s duties will also include drafting legal documents, preparing applications for administrative reviews, preparing briefs to counsel, and researching and analysing documents and case law to ensure the accuracy of advice and procedure.

The candidate will play a key role in advising the firm’s client base on contentious immigration matters, including sponsorship licences, global talent visas, tier one to tier 5 visas, and private life applications, including appeals. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives, while maintaining strong relationships with the firm’s client base.

• 1-5 PQE;
• Strong background in employment and contentious immigration matters in a medium to large firm;
• Outstanding academics;
• Technically excellent;
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
