We are working with a tier-1 law firm based in Belfast for a Solicitor to join their Healthcare team.
The successful candidate will join a successful Healthcare team, handling a wide range of clinical negligence and personal injury matters, with a focus on defending claims on behalf of insurance companies, self-insured organisations, and healthcare professionals. The lawyer will manage their own caseload, liaise closely with clients, conduct investigations, take witness statements, and review medical records. You will also advise on the defence of insurance claims, manage complaints, and manage risk. The role will also involve regular court appearances.
Essential Criteria:
- 0-6 years’ PQE
- Healthcare or general defence litigation background
- Excellent academics
- Technically excellent
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
