We are working with a leading national law firm who are seeking an Associate Solicitor to join their Corporate Energy team within their Belfast office.
The successful candidate will join a highly regarded Corporate practice, working within a dynamic team on clean energy M&A transactions. The candidate will support senior team members on all aspects of clean energy M&A transactions, with responsibilities including project managing all workstreams, assisting and co-ordinating due diligence processes, leading on the drafting and negotiation of all ancillary documentation, and supporting the negotiation of the key transaction documents. This role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work with a wide range of clean energy clients, operating across a variety of renewable energy projects, such as wind, solar, battery, hydro, and EVCI amongst others.
Essential Criteria
- 1-4 PQE;
- Strong background in clean energy M&A within a medium to large commercial firm;
- Ability to demonstrate strong commercial awareness;
- Outstanding academics;
- Technically excellent;
- Negotiation skills;
- Willingness to become involved in business development;
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
