Role Overview

The successful candidate will join a highly regarded Planning & Environmental team, advising developers, landowners, utilities, and major corporate clients on complex development, energy, and infrastructure projects across Northern Ireland and the UK.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Advise on planning applications and appeals.
• Handle environmental impact and habitats assessments.
• Manage environmental permitting and regulatory matters.
• Address contaminated land and environmental liability issues.
• Support major renewable energy and development projects.
• Advise on planning obligations and compulsory purchase matters.
• Gain exposure to contentious matters including enforcement and judicial review proceedings.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• 1+ years’ PQE (Post-Qualification Experience).
• Demonstrable planning & environment law experience.
• Excellent academic record.
• Strong commercial awareness and communication skills.
• Technically excellent and a strong team player.
• Top of the market salary package (commensurate with experience).
