Reporting to: Director of New Business, NEUMEA
As our New Sales Manager for Ireland and Northern Ireland, you’ll be responsible for driving new business growth across key sectors and markets. We’re looking for someone who is energetic, commercially sharp, and has a hunter mentality to deliver exceptional results.
What You’ll Do
- Win new customers and deliver against revenue targets.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking at relevant events, and opportunity development.
- Lead the full sales cycle—from identifying prospects and understanding needs, to pitching solutions, handling objections, and negotiating terms.
- Work closely with internal teams including Account Managers, Community Managers and Sector Leads to ensure smooth handover and maximise customer value.
- Stay ahead of market trends, gather intelligence, and identify high‑potential accounts aligned to Achilles’ sector and community strategies.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and follow Achilles’ commercial governance frameworks and sales processes.

Experience Required
- Proven track record of securing and closing high‑value deals ($250k+).
- 5+ years’ experience in enterprise software sales, ideally across both SME and large corporate clients.
- Experience selling into senior executives and acting as a trusted advisor.
- Exposure to procurement, risk, legal or compliance functions is beneficial.
- Strong skills in lead generation, structured sales methodologies, needs analysis, negotiation and forecasting.
- Excellent presentation and pitching skills (both face‑to‑face and virtual).
- Experience working in energy, infrastructure, or utilities sector is desirable.
