We are looking for a flexible and dynamic peripatetic teacher of deaf children and young people to join our team. The successful candidate will split their time between working in one of our partner schools and conducting outreach work.

Salary offered MPS to UPS (Outer London Weighting) + SEN Allowance 1 or 2 according to experience.

    As a Qualified Teacher for the deaf you will have your own caseload and you will be one of our champions for deaf children and young people. You’ll have plenty of autonomy in managing your workload and regular 1:1 support from your line manager, the ESSS manager.

  • Be a champion for deaf children and young people.
  • Have plenty of autonomy in managing your workload.
  • Deliver programmes of learning to individuals and groups of pupils with hearing needs.
  • Keep up-to-date records of pupils’ progress.
  • Create and maintain an atmosphere in which pupils gain self-confidence, enjoyment and the will to learn.
