About the Role
As the Head of Employee Relations, you will:
- Lead the creation of a new Employee Experience and Development team, shifting away from traditional employee relations models.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive employee experience strategy that aligns policies and processes with modern, progressive working practices.
- Prevent case escalation by implementing proactive engagement and early intervention strategies.
- Lead complex and sensitive employee relations cases, providing expert advice and support to colleagues across the organization.
- Analyze trends and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement, recommending actionable solutions.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in employment law and best practices, sharing this knowledge to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
About You
- A proven track record in leading employee relations, ideally in fast-paced environments (experience is desirable but not essential).
- Expertise in employment law and a deep understanding of best practices.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Knowledge of organisational development strategies and approaches.
- A strategic mindset, with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
- A genuine passion for people and a commitment to creating a positive and supportive workplace.
- A balance of empathy and decisiveness in your leadership style.
