About the role
As an Educational Psychologist, you'll work across schools, early years settings and with families to improve outcomes for children and young people aged 0-25. Managing a small patch of schools, you'll provide consultation, assessment and evidence-based interventions while supporting children and young people with SEND through both statutory and early intervention work.
You'll also play a key role in our innovative Experts at Hand programme, delivering training, contributing to research and service development, and working alongside education, health and social care partners to promote inclusion and create lasting, positive change across the borough.

About you
We're looking for a collaborative and passionate Educational Psychologist who is committed to improving outcomes for children and young people through inclusive, evidence-based practice. You'll enjoy building strong relationships, thinking creatively and working as part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team.
- A postgraduate qualification in Educational Psychology and be eligible for HCPC registration and Chartered Membership of the British Psychological Society.
- Experience (or trainee experience) working within Educational Psychology, with a strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice.
- Excellent consultation, communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, schools and partner agencies.
- Experience producing high-quality psychological advice, reports and assessments, including contributions to EHCPs.
- A passion for early intervention, inclusion and achieving the best outcomes for children and young people.
- The ability to work independently, manage a varied workload and contribute positively to a collaborative team.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use.
