Achieve Therapy Ltd is recruiting a Specialist Paediatric Occupational Therapist to work at Beech Lodge School, an independent SEN school with an excellent therapeutic environment and a strong commitment to sensory integration and trauma-informed practice.
Please note: This role is not suitable for newly qualified (Band 5) therapists. We are looking for a therapist with at least 3–5 years paediatric experience and confidence working independently.
The Role
- Deliver OT within a specialist SEN school
- Use sensory integration–informed approaches in a well-equipped SI gym
- Support students with ASD, ADHD, developmental trauma, and sensory needs
- Contribute to EHCP reports and reviews
- Work autonomously while collaborating with school staff
This is a clinically rich, hands-on role, not a consultative-only post.

Requirements
- HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
- 3–5+ years paediatric experience
- Experience in school-based OT
- Sensory Integration training or strong practical experience
- Confident working independently
- Strong report writing (EHCPs)
Desirable
- Postgraduate SI training (e.g. PG Cert)
- Experience with developmental trauma
- Experience in SEN or specialist schools
