Our business, which provides leading software solutions and consulting services, is growing at a fast pace. To build on this momentum, we’re looking for Product Marketing Managers across various portfolios to be part of our Global Marketing group. In this role, you’ll work closely with our technical Product Managers to analyse market and client needs, articulate client challenges, understand product unique selling points, and help develop sales tools and marketing material, including writing technical marketing content. You’ll conduct product and competitor research, help determine and implement go‑to‑market strategies, and provide source material for sales and marketing. If you have a strong technical/IT background in SAP and are enthusiastic about marketing, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Product Managers to determine and implement go‑to‑market strategy, developing messaging and market positioning for a range of products and service lines.
  • Perform market research, act as voice of the client by analysing specific concerns and communicating findings internally.
  • Undertake competitor analysis and product positioning, monitoring key market trends.
  • Communicate the vision and value of products to marketing and sales colleagues and develop tools that facilitate this process.
  • Conduct surveys, interviews and focus groups to obtain insights about client product usage and buyer personas to identify new opportunities.
  • Write technical content for sales and marketing purposes, including e‑books, white papers, blogs, lead magnets and web pages.
  • Plan, develop and provide content for global marketing campaigns that can be leveraged by Regional Marketing Leads and Partners.
  • Communicate campaign objectives, timelines and deliverables to the broader team, and provide instructions for use or promotion.
  • Ensure campaigns achieve expected results, and prepare activity reports and metrics to demonstrate outcomes.
  • Identify improvements for processes, content and lead generation.
  • Collaborate closely with Regional Marketing Leads to support meetings, events, conferences and trade shows, ensuring alignment with the go‑to‑market strategy.
  • Support the implementation of the company’s brand strategy.

Qualification required

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher), or equivalent.

Experience and Skills Required

  • Demonstrable experience in Product Marketing or Product Management.
  • Technical background in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software or similar.
  • Excellent collaborative skills and ability to work with multiple teams across the business.
  • Excellent market research skills and the ability to gain insight into clients’ needs.
  • Commercially driven mindset with demonstrable business acumen.
  • Accurate analytical skills for evaluating and discovering effective marketing strategies.
  • Experience in writing technical IT marketing and sales source content.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self‑motivated with strong client focus.
  • Understanding of marketing principles and experience in implementing data‑driven marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

The following would be an advantage

  • Understanding of SAP, SAP SuccessFactors and related systems.
  • Understanding of, and experience in one or more of the following:
    • SAP S/4HANA and System Landscape Optimization (SLO)
    • SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and custom code
    • SAP Application Lifecycle Management product solutions, Test Data Management, decommissioning systems
    • Data privacy and security, and GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance)
    • Cloud solutions including migrations, hosting, managed services and AWS
    • Human Capital Management (HCM)/Human Experience Management (HXM), HR and Payroll reporting

  • Full‑time permanent position.
  • Ideally based at the EPI‑USE Labs office in Manchester, but flexible for the right candidate.
