The Opportunity

You will join an established financial planning team, providing high-level technical paraplanning support, producing detailed cashflow models, and delivering high-quality suitability reports. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys complex casework, problem-solving and being a key technical resource within the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse client information, existing plans, and investment structures
  • Produce accurate tax calculations
  • Build appropriate financial planning solutions and recommendations
  • Write suitability reports across a range of advice areas
  • Create and run detailed cashflow models
  • Act as a technical point of contact for advisers and support teams
  • Communicate with clients regarding research and report timelines
  • Attend client meetings when required
  • Support and mentor junior team members
  • Contribute to internal projects to improve systems and processes
  • Lead internal pod or team meetings
  • Undertake peer reviews within the paraplanning team

About You

You will be confident working with high-net-worth clients and comfortable handling complex technical work. This role suits a career paraplanner who enjoys being central to the advice process without needing to be client-facing.

You will:

  • Demonstrate strong technical knowledge across financial planning
  • Hold the CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (Chartered progression desirable)
  • Bring 2-3 years paraplanning experience
  • Have strong IT skills; experience with systems such as Curo, FE Analytics or Voyant is advantageous
  • Show excellent attention to detail
  • Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Be organised and able to manage a varied workload
  • Work well as part of a collaborative team

Working Arrangements
