The Role
As the HR Administrator, you will be at the heart of the HR operations. Acting as the first point of contact for employees and managers, you will make sure queries are handled efficiently, records are accurate and processes run smoothly. You will support everything from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, payroll changes and HR reporting, helping create a positive and engaging employee experience for everyone.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing and onboarding.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs.
- Write job adverts, coordinate internal/external postings, and liaise with agencies.
- Maintain and monitor the applicant tracking system.
- HR Administration
- Manage the HR and Recruitment inbox, responding promptly and escalating when needed.
- Prepare and distribute HR documentation and correspondence.
- Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring data protection compliance.
- Support employee relations processes by gathering relevant information and documentation.
- Provide clear guidance on HR policies, procedures and benefits.
- Payroll & Reporting
- Liaise with Finance to submit payroll changes, overtime, starters and leavers ahead of deadlines.
- Keep managers informed of payroll updates.
- Produce accurate reports for HR leadership and departmental heads.
- Culture & Compliance
- Promote positive employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
- Support inclusive recruitment and contribute to a diverse and equitable workplace.
- Keep up to date with employment legislation and recommend policy updates where relevant.
About You
- Discreet, professional and able to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Experienced with HR policies and able to apply them in real situations.
- Highly organised with excellent time-management skills.
- Detail-driven and accurate in all aspects of work.
- An effective communicator; both written and verbal.
- Confident working independently but also a great team player.
- Competent with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
