£55,000 – £60,000 per annum + Benefits About the Role We are seeking a skilled and commercially minded Finance Controller to lead the accounting and administration function within our dealership operations. This is a key role supporting senior management with accurate financial reporting, performance analysis and strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of financial processes, compliance with reporting deadlines and maintaining strong internal controls across all areas of the dealership. savings at major retailers, restaurants, and gyms Key Responsibilities Produce monthly management accounts at both departmental and business-wide levels Monitor performance against budget and provide variance analysis and commentary Manage cash flow and ensure adherence to banking agreements and manufacturer schemes Oversee dealership assets including debtors, stock, and funding facilities Collaborate with management to produce weekly forecasts and annual budgets Prepare annual consolidated accounts and support external audits Maintain and reconcile accruals, prepayments, provisions, and balance sheet items Ensure timely and accurate statutory reporting (PAYE, Social Security, VAT/GST) Manage payroll, bonuses, and commissions with accuracy and fairness Oversee use of Autoline DMS and related modules (VSB, ledgers, database management) What Were Looking For Experience in automotive finance or dealership accounting Strong understanding of KPIs across Sales, Service, and Parts operations Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Experience with Keyloop (Autoline) DMS preferred but not essential Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and communicate financial insights clearly
