Our client is an independent Transport Planning and Infrastructure Design Consultancy that improves the built and natural environment. They're looking for a Transport Planner to join their transport and infrastructure team. They work across a wide range of sectors, including residential, health, education, retail, energy, civils and commercial, so no two projects are the same. The role * Get involved in every stage of a project, from planning through to design and delivery * Contribute to and manage a portfolio of complex, interesting projects * Advise clients and build strong working relationships with them * Work closely with the wider transport and infrastructure team About you * Degree-level qualification or equivalent * At least 2 years' transport planning experience * Working towards membership of a professional body (e.g. CIHT or TPS) is desirable * Working knowledge of relevant design guidance and local planning policy * Experience using AutoCAD, TRICS and transport modelling software * Confident with Microsoft Office and other computer-based systems * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Able to prioritise your workload and work well in a team and on your own initiative Benefits * Up to 10% bonus when targets are achieved * Overage bonus * Vitality healthcare * 24 days' holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with service * Option to buy extra annual leave through salary sacrifice * Hybrid working, with up to 2 days a week from home * Flexible hours around core hours of 10am – 4pm * Cycle to work scheme * Free on-site parking
