The Branch Advisor plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional financial services and fostering positive relationships with our valued members.
This role’s primary responsibilities encompass cross‑selling products and services, processing all types of teller transactions, managing account maintenance, opening basic consumer accounts, handling branch operations, as well as other duties as assigned.
The Branch Advisor Hub role supports branches within the market and will be dispatched to locations based on member and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Member Engagement
- Serve as trusted advisor by engaging members in financial wellness conversations that uncover needs and lead to tailored product and service recommendations.
- Promote a member‑first culture by consistently delivering outstanding service both in person and over the phone.
- Demonstrate deep product knowledge to confidently guide members through financial solutions that enhance their experience and value.
- Utilize Achieva’s RSS tools and sales processes to drive consistent performance and member satisfaction.
- Collaborate with branch leadership and team members to meet and exceed branch goals.
- Participate in planned initiatives for meeting the growth goals of the branch.
- Leverage tools such as Sugar and Coconut to support and track service and sales activities.
- Member Accounts & Transactions
- Accurately process a wide range of teller transactions and account maintenance requests, ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Open basic accounts for new and existing members, offering relevant ancillary products and ensuring delivery of all regulatory documentation is provided.
- Branch Operations
- Take ownership of branch opening and closing procedures, maintaining operational readiness and security standards throughout the day.
- Work closely with branch leadership to identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to a positive, high‑performing team culture.
- Stay informed and adaptable to evolving tools, processes and member needs to ensure continues personal and professional growth.
- Organizational Engagement
- Represent the credit union with professionalism and courtesy in all interactions.
- Uphold the highest ethical standards in all interactions and responsibilities.
- Support leadership initiatives that position the credit union as a top employer.
- Take initiative to perform other essential functions as needed to support the team.
- Be available to work evenings and weekends to meet member and business demands.
Requirements
Education and Experience
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Additional education in finance, business or related field is a plus.
