Citizens Advice North Somerset is hiring a Trainee Welfare Benefits Caseworker to develop into a qualified adviser, helping clients access the benefits they’re entitled to through advice, casework and appeals support.
Job Summary:
- Salary (actual) – £26,227
- Contract – Permanent
- Hours per week – 37.5
Purpose of the role:
- To undertake and complete Welfare Benefits Caseworker training as directed.
- Within three months to be actively advising and assisting clients and managing a caseload.
- To assist in providing an efficient and effective Welfare Benefits service to assess eligibility, maximise income and review and appeal decisions as appropriate.
