Essential – must have a driving license and access to a car. We are looking for Quids In Coaches to support individuals struggling with their finances, help them avoid debt, rent arrears and homelessness, and build skills to secure employment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide face‑to‑face support in local Quids In Centres.
- Make contact with new referrals by phone and email, giving information, advice and guidance.
- Signpost clients to specialist advice and regulated bodies.
- Assist with digital skill building to improve financial wellbeing.
- Cover drop‑ins at Quids In Centres, collaborate with partner agencies and statutory bodies, and support money skills and employment workshops run by tutors.
- Supervise Peer Workers on site during drop‑in sessions with support from the Team Leader.
- Excellent communication and natural coaching style.
- Empathy and understanding of the needs of vulnerable people from diverse backgrounds.
- Commitment to confidentiality when handling personal information.
- Competent IT user – email, internet, and basic administrative tasks.
- Knowledge of discrimination, equality and diversity issues, including the ‘poverty premium’.
