The Role:
As our Office and Finance Manager, you will be the backbone of daily operations. You’ll be in charge of key functions including office administration, facilities management, finance, IT, and HR. You will lead by example in the office environment, supporting staff with their day-to-day issues, enabling them to carry out their work effectively. You will also be responsible for reception services, helping us to create a safe and welcoming environment for our vulnerable clients.
You will be supported by an Admin and Finance Assistant, who you will manage and supervise, so many of the tasks and responsibilities within your role will be delegated to them.
You will be a member of the management team, regularly meeting with other managers to ensure organisational goals are achieved.
About You:
You are a great communicator who can build rapport easily and create an inviting reception space for our clients, who may be in distress or crisis when they access our services. You are non-judgmental and able to put people at ease, sensitively and confidentially handling their enquiries.
You are good at planning and time management, and willing to respond flexibly to the needs of the charity, as your workload will vary from day to day. You will be able to work with our current systems and procedures, creating any further efficiencies where possible. Organisation is key to this role, as you will be juggling competing priorities. You will be supported by our CEO to prioritise your workload.
