We’re looking for an Impact & Learning Lead to join Talbot Village Trust - one of Dorset’s largest grant-giving charities. At Talbot Village Trust, we believe that funding should do more than support good work. It should learn, adapt, and continually improve to deliver the greatest possible public benefit. In this role, you will help us understand and articulate the difference our funding makes - not just through data, but through learning, reflection, and collaboration. You’ll work closely with colleagues, trustees and our grantees to embed a culture of evidence-informed decision-making and shared learning across our grant schemes, including our strategic partnership programme.

This role is for someone who:

  • Believes in the power of learning to strengthen social impact
  • Enjoys working alongside charities and community organisations
  • Can balance rigour with curiosity, and evidence with empathy
  • Wants their work to contribute to long-term public benefit

If you’re motivated by purpose and want to help maximise the impact of charitable funding across south-east Dorset, we’d love to hear from you.

Please apply with a covering letter outlining why you are suitable for this role along with your CV including names of two referees (none of whom will be contacted without your consent and only if you are offered a position). Email your application to [emailprotected]
