Job Responsibilities
- Work with project teams and HR department on the projects' funding requirement in order to work out monthly cash flow (in accordance to the terms agreed) and quarterly rolling-forecast to plan for the financial needs.
- Review and analyze the budget to assess potential variances and work with QS Manager and HR Manager on a quarterly/half yearly basis.
- Source and secure the most competitive providers (BG or insurance companies) for the bonds and insurance required for the projects, with a comparison table.
- Plan and organize foreign currencies requirements and monitor the forex movements with a forex procurement plan to ensure the group's forex exposure risk is minimized.
- Liaise with corporate secretary on the corporate secretarial matters of the group.
- Liaise with bankers, insurance companies, and other regulatory bodies.
- Pro-actively communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders to analyze information needs, provide financial advice to support overall business operations for decision making.
- Prepare monthly reports as follows:
- Cash flow projections.
- Banking facilities Summary (available facilities and un-utilized amount), include highlighting new facilities obtained and facilities that have been cancelled during the reporting month.
- LC and Invoice Financing Summary.
- Bonds and project insurance summary (bond/insurance value, bond/insurance period, premium).
- Planned foreign currencies requirements and forward contracts summary.
- List of resolutions/minutes passed during the month.
Job Requirements
- Preferably with 10 years of working experience.
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Finance or equivalent professional qualification. (Diploma also can but must have certified accountant – CPA)
- Meticulous and excellent attention to details.
- Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Excellent proficiency with standard office applications, especially MS Word & MS Excel.
