As a Care Assistant with Aceso Homecare, you will make a real difference every day, supporting people to live well, stay independent, and feel safe in the comfort of their own home. We are seeking individuals who are kind, compassionate, reliable and have a genuine desire to help and care.
You don’t need previous care experience as successful applicants will be provided with a comprehensive training programme and ongoing support from our management and leadership team.
The successful applicant will work closely with the Deputy Registered Managers and Team Leaders to coordinate and deliver a high-quality domiciliary (care at home) service for vulnerable adults in the local area. You will promote the highest standards of care and service with a focus on person‑centred care as detailed below:
- Support with personal care tasks such as bathing, getting dressed, and using the bathroom.
- Assist with mobility needs, ensuring that clients feel safe and confident.
- Perform household tasks such as light cleaning and tidying.
- Ensure that prescribed medications are offered and taken in accordance with the individual care plan and recorded appropriately.
- Positively engage with clients, encouraging active conversations that help clients feel valued and cared for.
- Ensure open and transparent communication with clients and family members, ensuring that our services are of the highest quality and meet the expectations of clients and loved ones.
- Maintain accurate daily notes, via our electronic systems and communicate regularly with the office.
You must be reliable and punctual and understand that you are part of a team working together. Must have a caring, friendly and compassionate personality. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Be responsive, adaptable and remain calm. Must have a full driving licence and access to a car.
We are seeking individuals who are willing to help expand our ever‑growing business in the Staffordshire Moorlands, whether full or part time.
Aceso Homecare provides services across 7 days a week. Our routine shift patterns are detailed below:
- 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
- 3:30 pm to 10:30 pm
Requirement to work alternative weekends, plus opportunities to increase hours in line with business needs.
