ACES is an independent provider of NHS eye care outpatient and surgical services that are delivered in the community. Working with state-of-the-art technologies, we support the NHS, providing patients with the highest standards of clinical care. We provide a range of services including: Cataract, YAG Laser Treatment, Glaucoma, Oculoplastics and General Ophthalmology.
Responsibilities
- Undertaking pre and post-operative consultations for our cataract surgery patients.
- Overseeing glaucoma care as part of a virtual ophthalmology led service.
- Providing clinical support to our ophthalmologists in general and oculoplastic clinics.
Qualifications
- Have a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience.
- Be keen to undertake higher qualifications in glaucoma.
- Be passionate about delivering excellent patient care.
- Be articulate, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be confident and organised.
- Be happy to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Flexible working available to include full and part time opportunities.
Your role will be similar to that of a hospital optometrist, undertaken in a community setting, in a modern clinic, working with state-of-the-art technology.
