This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner who is ready to take on additional responsibility, or an existing Room Leader looking to join a nursery where there is genuine scope for further career progression . The nursery has a strong and supportive management team and places great importance on developing its staff. They actively promote from within wherever possible , so there are excellent opportunities for the right person to progress into more senior or management positions in the future. As Room Leader, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of your room, leading and supporting your team to provide a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for the children. You will ensure that activities and learning opportunities are planned in line with the EYFS, while maintaining high standards of care and safeguarding. You will also support practitioners with observations, assessments and record keeping, build positive relationships with parents and carers, and work closely with the nursery management team to ensure the room runs smoothly. Applicants should hold a recognised Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification and ideally have previous Room Leader or senior practitioner experience. We would also be happy to consider a strong and experienced Level 3 Nursery Practitioner who is ready to take the next step into leadership .
